            The Committee on the Judiciary moves to amend the bill on page two, section seven hundred eleven, line twenty-seven, by striking out the proviso and inserting in lieu thereof a new proviso to read:

 


Provided further, That in a judicial circuit that has established a truancy program in conjunction with a county board of education in which a school-based juvenile probation officer is utilized to handle truancy matters within that county, then the Supreme Court of Appeals and the county board of education shall each pay one half of the costs of the salary and benefits for the school-based juvenile probation officer.
